Hello! I am an Associate Professor at Gies College of Business, University of Illinois &#; Urbana Champaign. I graduated from University of Texas at Dallas with a PhD in MIS.

My research interests span across following topics.

Algorithm/System Design: I am interested in the design of better algorithms for solving computationally difficult problems faced by businesses.

Currently, I am working on projects in the area of information privacy and security. I develop algorithms to protect confidential information before sharing data with business partners using traditional optimization and computational techniques, as well as Quantum algorithms. I also worked on designing recommender system algorithms when systems use association rules.

I am interested in designing recommendation systems that consider and reduce biases in the recommendations.
